Avis Industrial Corporation Acquires Cerro Fabricated Products
Upland, IN – Avis Industrial Corp. has completed its acquisition of Cerro Fabricated Products, Weyers Cave, Virginia. Established in 1915, Cerro Fabricated Products evolved into a world-class, full-turnkey manufacturer of high-quality forged and machined aluminum, brass, and copper products. Supported by a lean manufacturing ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system, the company’s comprehensive in-house capabilities incorporate a wide range of forge and trim presses, specialized heat treating, finishing, modern machining centers, and strict quality assurance via advanced inspection, metrology, and APQP/PPAP compliance.
Cerro Fabricated Products will continue to operate as it has, serving its broad range of customers in some of the most exacting and demanding markets including defense, automotive, aerospace, power sports and safety. Cerro Fabricated Products will also serve to extend the capabilities and market reach of the Forged Products Platform within the Avis portfolio, which also includes Edgerton Forge, Inc.
