LaRita R. Boren
Executive Director and Chairman

LaRita was vice president of Avis Industrial from 1987 until she was named Executive Director in 2006, then in August of 2008 she was elected Chairman of the Board. Mrs. Boren is the major shareholder of Avis Industrial Corporation. She was raised in southwest Oklahoma and received her Bachelor’s of Science degree from Oklahoma State University. LaRita also holds an honorary Doctor of Business Management degree from Indian Wesleyan University and a Doctor of Humane Letters degree from Taylor University. She has also been honored with Sagamores of the Wabash by two Governors of the State of Indiana. LaRita is also active on several boards. She is a member of the Taylor University Board of Trustees, a Board of Directors of Heartland Truly Moving Pictures, Indianapolis, Indiana and a Board of Directors of Lyford Clay Foundation, Nassau, Bahamas.

Leland E. Boren
Chief Executive Officer

Leland began his career with the Pierce Governor Company in 1945 as a material control clerk. He worked his way through the ranks and was named General Manager of Pierce in 1956 and became president in 1958. Mr. Boren became Chairman of the Board of Pierce Governor in 1969 as well as President and a director of Avis Industrial Corporation. Both companies were listed on the American Stock Exchange. In 1971 The Pierce Governor Company merged with Avis Industrial Corporation. Mr. Boren was born in Owensville, Indiana and graduated from Anderson High School. He has received honorary degrees of Doctor of Laws from both Taylor University and Anderson University. He also received the degree of Honorary Doctor of Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Todd E. Hunt
President and Chief Operating Officer

Todd joined Avis Industrial as Vice President in May of 2006. His first assignment upon joining the Company was the overall financial and manufacturing responsibilities of three Avis subsidiaries: The Pierce Company, Hurd Corporation and CUMSA. Since then he has been named President and Chief Operating Officer beginning in August, 2008. Prior to joining Avis, Todd was the president/owner of Holt Products Company located in Holt, Michigan. Todd remains today the owner of Holt Products Company. Todd received his Bachelors of Arts in Accounting from Grand Valley State University. Before joining Holt Products Company, Todd earned his C.P.A. license with the accounting and auditing firm of BDO Siedman. He is a member of the Spring Arbor University Board of Trustees, Spring Arbor, Michigan.

Jackie Duggan
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Jackie began her career at Avis Industrial in 1974 while in college pursuing an accounting degree from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, she began full-time work as personal accountant for Leland and LaRita Boren. In 1981, she was named Treasurer of Pacific American Corporation, a sister company of Avis. When Pacific American Corporation and Avis merged in 1986, Jackie was named Vice President of Finance of Avis. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.
